Urgent Predator Cinemaquette question for those who have one

Mine just came today. I have a very big problem. The two legs will not go into the feet/base. I've tried many, many times, and it feels like the holes are not lined up with the pegs coming out of the legs. Did anyone else have a hard time getting it into the base? Is there some kind of trick to this? I'd really hate to send this whole thing back.

apply some pressure..someone had the same problem over @ statueforum and they got the pegs in with some effort.

im sure someone over there even used a drill to get it to fit :horror

I don't know where to apply the pressure. It seems like there just isn't enough room to clear it. I also don't want to break the base with it.

Are you serious? I read most of that thread but didn't see that. I don't want to drill something this expensive. What a disappointment. It looks fantastic too.

polystone has a certain amount of give to it before it breaks so if the pegs are out by a few mm then i'd say you could force legs apart enough for pegs to fit.

go over to sf and ask over there,they'll be more than happy th advise you

I was afraid of that when i got him as well, and I had to force it a bit, and had to push one leg a bit, then the other, and back and forth. no drill for me.
