Apparently it's due to the Trump tariffs, who knows how long they're going to hold up for considering the Mexico and Canada ones are on pause for 30 days. I'm sure trade war was always going to be worse with China.

@Kit Chen do you have a backup plan to be able to send to the US? How do you intend to work with the tariffs?

Assuming this lasts for more than a couple days, I’m blindly assuming we are going to be getting charged a bit more for DHL shipping for a little while
🙉

Well my Alfred is screwed cuz it hasnt cleared international yet and the usps label is created. Looks like it will be sent back to Kit

So damn annoying. I trust Kit but this sucks. I know in the grand scheme of things it’s pretty low on the totem pole of problems right now but still..

It could be pretty major, actually. Retaliation tariffs, then higher tariffs from us, some delivery companies rely on USPS will be put out of business, eBay will be a mess giving excuses for even more criminal activity, and we get to subsidize the financial loss to the USPS... it's a mess that's going to keep giving back.

Lmao noo don’t say that I literally found out from some statues I bought on eBay which haven’t left China yet. They’re being shipped through 4PX so I wonder if they’re going to automatically return it to the seller or else hold onto it

I’m not going to cry about a piece of plastic though, I hope this is figured out before people’s finances and even potentially health suffer

I just meant our figures are on the low end of problems in this country right now. I get what you’re saying though. A ton of stuff is being impacted because of the dummy in charge.

It must be related to the tariffs, even is USPS isn't admitting it. Realistically, they probably need to shut down packages because of the removal of the 'de minimis' exemption. It fundamentally changes how USPS works. They need some time to figure out how to make this work. Woulda been nice if some planning had gone into this.

I'm just at a loss for words that this idiot ran on lowering inflation and how it was killing the States, only to get sworn in and do an infinite number of things that will make inflation worse, openly admitting it'll be rough for people for some time.

Did the guy think any of this through or he is just firing from the hip and hoping for the best?
