im getting both of them, just wanna know given a choice which one would you guys pick

p.s-i feel that both are absolutely fantastic albeit underrated pieces

cheers

V-rex looks cooler to me. I never thought the Venatosaurus looked plausible as an evolutionary descendant of prehistoric raptors... then again I wasn't big on the V-rex design either... just couldn't personally make peace with the idea of animals of which T.rex was their ancestor being a family of inbred, malformed hillbillies. Hell, if I could find my Venatosaurus skull I'd sell you that for cheap. :lol V-rex looks cooler though if you're considering one.

Both are fantastic, but if I could only keep one it would be the v-rex.

i've already received the venty, now lets see how the v-rex turns out,i feel they r both pretty awesome n plus some really good deals floatin' around as well....

i also feel that both pieces are great and reallly under rated, don't u think so?

They really depict the animals well as they appeared in the movie. I wasn't big on the designs personally. The skull on the Venatosaurus looked too weak and seemed to hinder stereoscopic vision for which raptors are known. The V-rex looked mutated; I understand that it's meant to be "largely inbred" due to isolation, but then that should be the case with all of the species of small populations on the island... and in point of fact all isolated populations left to evolve on their own for long periods of time in extremely small habitats all inevitably evolve to smaller sizes themselves, not larger sizes. To this people might point to the anomaly of the Komodo monitor, but even that is considerably smaller than its ancestor, Megalania. Just not a fan of the direction they took with the designs personally, but I still enjoy the movie. :D

scar, buddy i must say u have a wealth of knowledge regarding these prehistoric creatures and its pretty incredible, for me personlly, both these busts work based on their sheer size, presence and realism, plus they are at some pretty good prices too

I don't think the pieces in the Kong Line were underrated more that the ES of the Pieces were un freaking believable they were way too high but I think Weta has learnt their lesson

ohh they were?like how much do u think the es of these 2 busts were likely to be?

You can definitely get them for good prices. Shouldn't have any trouble at all.

yeah, they are worth every penny, even though shippin em across to india costs a lot, twice as much as the actual bust, but itss till worth it,hope my venatosaurus bust is as good

:lol :banana Sounds good. Post some pics if you can! I personally am rather curious what these look like in-hand.

well here you go,they are great pieces, the detail, weight and size of them make them great collectibles, and maybe you should think of getting the whole line. You can find them for very good prices.

Very kickass display. I'm quite impressed. Maybe one day when I have the space and the coin I'll have something like that for my Dinosauria collectibles. :D
