Yeah it's just a bad pic, it's quite strong,but i see what you mean,that piece is really heavy and i don't see too many people puting it on glass shelves.

Ive seen some custom T-rex Jurassic Park wall mountable busts but they will set you back a pretty penny,check out Felmars collection,im pretty sure he has one

It's very simple....too many produced, not enough interest. Weta made some great King Kong collectibles, including these two busts and the Kong vs V-rex statue, which is as good as, if not better, than anything they made LOTR-related. Whether they just got greedy or simply overestimated the popularity of this license is anyone's guess, but I do know it didn't help much when they raised both the price and ES for the Kong vs statue, after they had already set those numbers previously.

yeah mate that totally blows,coz u look around and see so many less worthy collectibles appreciating in valuen im just thinking,why on earth isn't there a demand for these,i really do like em'...i just saw the poll n everyone thinks the vrex is a better buy,i already have it,but isn't the venatasaurus any good?i have it on order,n from the pics it does look pretty damn good...

Both are excellent, and the fact that the v-rex is winning out is not a reflection of the venatosaurus being no good. Your question was " given a choice which one would you guys pick". Obviously people [myself included] prefer the v-rex bust but instead of looking at it like the venatosaurus is no good, why not consider the fact that people simply like the v-rex more.

I Would Deffo Recommend picking both up,there just as good as each other,and look awesome displayed with the kong Dio

Sweet setup. I would say the bust on the far right looks like the least impressive of the bunch (sorry, I don't know enough Kong-lore to identify it).
