I can assure you that you haven't hurt my feelings, but between this discussion and the Obama tax thread you seem to be a bit quick to pounce; take a deep breath man -- it's all good, we're all friends here right?

I didn't think I had. I didn't pounce on anyone here at all at least not from my POV anyways. The tax thread was me just being tired of the lies and twisting of things. Nothing more nothing less. I'm fine. Had a great week and in a great mood.

for those on the fence about stitching, you should buy the frodo and sam figures. they have lots of stitching so you can get a feel of what it will look like in person. and then when you are done studying it you get to keep the 2 hobbits. great deal IMO.(shameless LOTR sales plug)

Of course in the 1/6 scale, stitch lines have a tendency to be visible. But that does not mean Sideshow had to design the cape and robe the way they did. Look at Medicom's Vaders or Hot Toys Batman figures. None of them have visible stitching and they look great.

I don't get what all the fuss is...
There is noticeable stitching on the SST Vader and it could be done without the stitching being noticeable. That's all.
If by bringing this to the attention of SST they go ahead and try to make the stitching not noticeable, so much the better.
Is it a deal breaker?
No.
Would it look better if the stitching wasn't visible?
Yes.

Again, I don't see what all the fuss is.

It's not 100% necessary, but I know it helped a lot with the Medicom figure.

I think the threads are a non-issue as well. For those comparing the cape to the Medi one, something I did notice from all the pics though is that it does, in fact, look like the cape is lined.

It's a pity those Marmit figs never got produced, some of them would look fantastics!

Well other companies did do it. Which is mostly why people are bringing it up.

No its lined... I remember checking that on mine before I sold it. Very high quality outfit on the Medicom. Honestly if not for the size issue I would have gladly kept the figure as it was simply awesome.

But after seeing what Sideshow is offering I dumped him on eBay.
