What does this mean? It sounds cool...but i am clueless...

It means eventually a hurricane Vader will be so realistic and finely detailed that he'll be able to climb down from your shelf and force choke you with his tiny hand. :emperor :D

Photoetched metal parts (“PE”) are a great way of adding fine details to models. PE parts involve both a photographic process and chemical etching of the metal parts with a laser printer. Not sure what parts he is thinking of using this for. the chest bits? the interior mask details?

yup as the man said in a nut shell, chemical etching, of brass plate, or copper, for helmets external and internal details, i may, just may try to fully detail the inside of each mask too, no promises tho, test etching to take place later today....and just to show im working my t**s off...ESB 'basic' mask/dome,(dome needs more coats of laquer in this pic) the ESB helmet was a 'reworked ANH' prop ,apparently, but the area where the mouth met the chin was given a sharper edge, et voila' so you have it in 1/6 also the widows peak was 'rounded off' ......some resin hands, a pile of soft goods, two body suits, and a pile of ANH pleather gauntlets... first ANH (basic) is all but done 'cept for cape....Ian 1138s vader is skulking nearby too, big apologies to this guy, but im hoping the new bits including the etched metal details can be incorporated,,,

:drool

You've got a whole Vader factory going on there. Vaderville is booming. :D

I am continually awed by your talent and this amazing work load. Your perfectionism and willingness to go the extra mile of detail separate you from everyone else out there. These are going to be finely crafted works of art. :bow

Shiiiiizzer Glenn you got the wife chained to the sewing machine ???

My deadline for Uni work is 29th April and Im working 15 hour days to get it in, once done Im having a few days off and then Ill get back to the website and start adding the stuff youve done over the past few months

...it's always wonderful to watch a really talented guy and someone who pays an amazing amount of attention to detail to his work :bow

I am so jonesing for an Empire Vader...
He's just incredible. All this update is amazing. I wonder if we'll see a helmet interior sometime soon? :D

I second that regarding the cost of the Vader. it is in no way cheap, but you will not find a better Vader anywhere...ever...ever ever...

I would pay the cost again in a heartbeat!!:joy

At first I was hesitant about spending this much for a figure, but I soon realized if you want the best you have to pay for it. Now I'm just counting the days until I finally have one of these beauties in my hands.

I don't mind the wait at all. In fact, with the occasional updates it's more fun and exciting than if it was already made and just showed up one day in the post.

I completely agree. I know this thing is gonna rock so the wait isn't bad and is even lessened by these progress pics.
