The head? Are you kidding?! And you are looking at the right hand with the cathode saber connectors on the palm. Could that be what you mean? Don't really know what you meant?

That looks great, Commtech! When your ANH Vader arrives, I would love to see side-by-side pictures (Maybe you could even add in your modified Sideshow Vader .

commtech: I dunno mate, could it be that yours. Was made before the SS version was released? The finishing on the dome, hands looks a bit rough IMO.

But snake eater's ANH vader is beautiful! Now that's what I'm talkin bout! It looks sooo much better than the SS ones. Those aren't the full version one though, rite? do you have the old anakin sculpt hiding underneath those helmet, snake?

the had is rubber to allow it to grip the saber, and as said the connectors sit there too.
the heads as sharp as they get...maybe its just the pic, its no different in the flesh from snakeeaters plus the gulf in detailing between that ESB and the current ones under construction is quite large i am always improving where i can,heres a shot of another ESB from exactly the same batch,

and after searching thru the old pics here the actual helmet commtechs ESB had.some of the older ones used actual first generation hasbro domes, with no real mods , not even paint if they were brand new, however newer ones use a casting from a modified dome with sharpened details.I keep being told to draw a line under the detailing (which i ignore ) ill keep pushing the limits till ive no push left to push with . Just another note, i use nothing from the sideshow vader at all with exception of the saber hilt, which ive modded adding several metal parts...

glad your pleased, you need to just tilt the dome forwards a bit youll find its held in place by blu tac to retain all the crown details on the mask.
