Wow, awesome work! And damn, the eyes on that just look amazing! Are they separate lenses? Or just painted straight onto the sculpt (and with a ton of gloss sprayed on afterwards, obviously)?

I'm really gonna have to try to achieve that same look with my Vader now.

An ANH has been boxed and ready for post.

Hydeous' ESB will be next this has new styled hands one set of flexible hands with real gloves as seen on the recent ANH and the only one to date and probably ever to feature the correct sequenced chest box lights which so I'm told no one anywhere has done yet in this size. There are three left for completion then that's it .tho we will have one for ourselves as we don't have a 1/6 Vader

I got my basic ANH Vader in the mail the other day. The longer I have him the more I like him. I'm very pleased. Oh hell, I love him! Hurricane was nice enough to throw in two domes and a pair of cloth gloves with bendy hands. The two domes are both the Hasbro and new SSC Vader dome modified. The bendy gloved hands I'm told are something new they wanted to try and I love 'em. I think they should be included with all sets from now on if they're not planned already. I went for the prop look option with all the dings and scratches. It's a well made figure and time and care went into it that's for sure. Actually it's easy to miss all the little details if you aren't looking. But when you sit and give it a good look you realize all those little bits and bobs around the back of the neck of the mask are all metal and hand placed. The little 'grates' in the breathing/mouth piece are separate metal pieces. And of course the tusks, ( one black, one silver) are metal. That's awesome. The suit it topnotch. THIS is what the Vader suit is supposed to look like, much like the original Sideshow Vader suit. I have no idea why Sideshow decided to go with that sleek liquorice suit look for their 2.0. The chest and belt boxes are also the best out there for an ANH Vader. The SSC chest box drove me crazy. But the real gem in this set, of course, is the mask. Seriously, it's a piece of art. I love marveling at all the tiny separate pieces that culminate to make it. Vader also includes a healthy amount of hands with all the iconic gestures you'd want, and a stand. Pics included. I know Hurricane has a backlog to worry about so this would be out of the question I guess but if he started small runs of different parts they'd make a mint. Two big items that are always on demand for those that want to replace parts on their Sideshow versions are the suit and domes. They would kill it with those. I reckon the new items such as the bendy hand gloves would do very well too, as would the chest box for the ANH. Anyway, I promised mrshurricane I'd give a review with pics so here it is. I intended to go a little further with this but I'm crazy busy at work and working long hours so my time with my family is limited so I'm squeezing it in now. So I hope this will suffice. Also, my camera is acting a little wonky so my pics aren't as good as I hoped but I don't think they are bad.

Thanks guys! :) Very happy with this Vader. Well worth the price too, especially for all the work involved. It was also very cool of them to add the extra dome and gloves, which I love. I had already paid and they just added those later. Now I have three Vaders. :lol Funny how things work out. I never wanted three and only ever wanted one. It's safe to say that with this one I'll be selling my other two. This is an excellent figure and it's unique. So yeah, this is the keeper. I like it as is but knowing me I'll probably tinker with it here and there and out my own touch on it like I usually do with figures. I really hope you guys get yours soon. I know some of you guys have been waiting for years. If you haven't lost complete interest by this point than I think you will be happy. Of course mine is the most basic and I think it's very intricate. I can only imagine what the super duper deluxe reveal/lights etc. version will be like. Good luck guys. :)
