Verizon Service Changes

Metro PCS had the most horrific signal strength or lackthereof in my area; never could get a call to connect and stay connected

I hate cell phones; hope this whole concept kills the industry

I have unlimited data with Verizon right now, and would have no real reason to change that, so I would be okay under these new rules.

HOWEVER, where they really screw me is if I want to upgrade my phone.

As i said before dont buy a discounted phone. The money you pay extra for the phone will be saved on the plan.

Same here. I'm glad I just upgraded to the razr, so at least ill have a couple more years of the unlimited data plan on a new phone. Hopefully my razr will last till I die

I upgraded wensday & got a razor for $50 + the same unlimited plan as I've had for the last 8 years

the way I understand the changes, the new plans only count if you change your plan package

Once your 2 year contract runs out and you renew with a new phone they will force you off the unlimited plan. The only way to keep the unlimited plan is if you pay full price for your next phone.

All I know is that for the next two years I'm gonna do my absolute best to use 10GB a month while I'm still on the unlimited data plan!
