Kind of a frustrating one, unfortunately. Tore the ankle straps in two places & broke one of the mounts for her heel guns getting them on. Managed to repair all that invisibly, but it was harrowing & annoying. Modified the fit of her glasses so they'll stay on, so that's one victory. (Boil, reshape, then dip in freezing water a few times) The heel guns are just something that either need to attach magnetically, or not come off at all if anyone else ever makes her again down the line. None of the existing figures have really nailed that feature
The body is pretty crap. I'll likely replace that over the long haul with a proper Phicen.
In fairness to Very Cool, some of the frustration is just by virtue of the costume design making no real world sense. Getting hair & chains tangled up every time you look at her wrong is no exaggeration.
I'm glad someone made another attempt at the character after the previous version, but I sort of get why licensed companies have avoided Bayonetta in mixed media. The elbow hair fringe is a legit nightmare.
I'm waiting to hear back about a replacement, but even starting from factory fresh this is one that's going to be a longer term project than I had hoped. I'll be body swapping down the line, & possibly replacing the chains with higher quality ones, & hopefully getting 3D printed replacements for her pendants.
I still like most of the ingredients overall, & I think there's a pretty great Bayonetta trying to happen here, but she definitely needs a bit of work. I have Johnny Silverhand & Mads Hannibal coming Monday, so that'll take some of the pain away. LOL
