Viggo Mortensen - The Road -figure

Hi, I am considering starting work on a Viggo Mortensen - The Road custom 1/6 figure. I know it's probably a depressing thing to have on the shelf and probably the reason why I haven't seen anyone do one. But the movie and especially the book made a huge impact on me so I would like to give it a try.
So, there are probably a good amount of Viggo sculps out there that I could use for a start - add some more beard maybe - but do anyone have ideas to which sculpt would be good for the purpose ( I guess that a smiling Viggo wouldn't be useful in this case) I would very much like to know. Also I could use ideas for the winter jacket and other clothes.
Anyone else thought about making a figure of this?

I've only seen the film once, it's such a downer that I don't know if I can watch it again. It would make a cool figure, I wish you luck!

There are some nifty Aragorn sculpts out there, but the best Viggo I've seen is a custom from Eastern Promises. Not sure if it is still available or not.

It's a great film, but definitely not the happiest of films. That figure would be cool to attempt.

Yes that's a great sculpt, but he has sort of a smirk on his face that doesn't really fit the mood of this character... don't know if there's a depressed Aragorn out there somewhere that doesn't look too bad

Have you looked at the Viggo sculpts in the custom heads section, on the Punch Customs website? There are 3 there I think, including an Aragorn.

this one is a better sculpt if i changed the hair and gave him a beard... still has a bit of a smirk though.

In hand, that sculpt is pretty neutral in terms of expression. I think with the hair re-sculpted, it could definitely work for the Man.

...yes - very true. I really wanted them to stay there... The father thought someone had spotted them though - but that doesn't change that they should have stayed there. It might have been too good to be true to them...

Yes. Here a few painted shots of the Nicolai sculpt as well as the Appaloosa head:

Uh that last one - the Appaloosa head - seems to be near perfect. It just needs some beard on the side. The mouth is more serious than the other one and the hair is flat. Can you tell me where you got it?
