I don't have the testicular fortitude that it takes to watch that movie. Although I did enjoy the two Hostel films, they were fun. SAW seems gay.

Is the reason people don't like Saw that it tries to have a story? It takes itself to seriously maybe?


I liked Hatchet but like NAM said, it's super cheesy and silly. That can be fun, but I guess I prefer a more serious horror film.

For example, I loved High Tension. The unrated version seriously pushes boundaries in terms of gore, and the characters are actually compelling and the story makes you think a little.
