I never owned any Joes that I know of so am not sure how they're constructed. Am I right in assuming that heads from the vintage GI Joe line would be compatible with the bodies of vintage Star Wars figures using the simple boil and pop method? I am interested in creating a custom Kyle Katarn in vintage form and the "Big Brawler" head looks perfect to use. I don't want to buy all the parts I need until I know it's doable. Thanks!
EDIT - It appears Big Brawler isn't even a vintage Joe but his detailing looks minimal and not too detailed that it'd fit with the vintage motif I'm going for. The original "Breaker" figure is another real vintage option although the resemblance isn't as strong. Of course I suppose the likenesses of many vintage figures weren't always stellar so I haven't ruled it out as an option.
