I'm curious how into audio equipment everyone is here. I've owned about 8 different turntables and about 20 different cartridges in my ~12 years of collecting records, not counting in various configurations of A/V gear.

Currently settled on a Pioneer PL-550 turntable that I picked up from a yard sale, and it's my favorite table I've ever owned, hands down. Set up with an Audio Technica AT-440mla cartridge.

What kind of set up are y'all running?

I have an old Realistic direct drive from 1979. I'm pretty happy with it for now.

I currently have nothing. I just look at the records and imagine how good they sound.

Plans on a new table are in the works, but the financing keeps falling through.
