Can we confirm that this was meant to be open to the public, with a personal e-mail address posted on this forum?

I am just double checking to make sure that we aren't inappropriately drawing attention to something that was for her clients or newsletter subscribers only, for example. I am always nervous about e-mail addresses being made public. If she has posted it on another website for all to see, then just let me know. But if this is the only place that it is being publicized online, then it makes me somewhat uncomfortable.

Understandable worry. Honestly, my impression when I saw the E-mail was I thought of it as more of a clever way for her to get peoples E-Mail addresses for her to send her updates to since she's mentioned she wants to stop selling her heads on E-bay (to save on costs, I'm sure).

And she hates her work getting copied.

PLEASE MAKE IT MILLA!! i have this Ultraviolet outfit that really needs a nice head.

so is any of this being organised? seems like just random suggestions. is we're doing this as a board than i'll probably vote majority...but i want a Milla :)

Nah, nothings been organized. We're a very diverse collection of personalities. But if anything, maybe this thread has given people some other ideas thay haven't thought of of who to vote for, and agree since this isn't a "top ten" list, voting for a more popularly wanted head will make a specific head more likely to happen.

Now that we've had pages of comments, do we want to throw up a poll of the most commonly suggested heads so we can vote majority?

PLEASE show me a great Milla head? if u mean the Hiyashi or Triad offerings i don't think they look much like her.

Hey Mook, FREE is better.

I want to vote for a free Milla too. But here's the other train of thought on it, from someone who's commissioned a lot of heads from her now:
Ada can do VERY strong males. She has had several dead-on likenesses in my opinion. Yeah, she had some that are off. I blame the commissioner on those not asking for any changes, maybe not being confident enough or realizing they could make changes.

Her females are generally kind of weak though. I don't own any. I say this just from the E-Bay pics I saw. I just commissioned my first female from her ("Leela" from Doctor Who) a kind of an expiriment to see how she does with getting feedback to suggest changes and improvements.

Personally, I think we's have a chance at getting a better looking Milla if we commissioned it, where we could give feedback and guidance as opposed to her just doing it, plus then we could decide the reference pics to make he look like we want.

That said, free IS better. I LOVE free. But there is no input then.

I'll vote for whoever the majority of the forum decides, and if it's not Milla, I'll have her be one of my "round three" of group commissions from her if enough people are interested.

I just wanted to throw out her males likenesses are stronger.

I'm sure that this doesn't mean a "free" head to everyone who contacts her. More that she'll sell finished sculpts and won't charge the larger commission fee up front as she normally does.

And I'm deleting her email from the first post - bots collect email addresses from forums like this if the email is public.

Does this look okay for a poll? There might be too many names.

Delgado or Ainley MASTER (will vote on which later)
Donald Pleasance "Loomis"
Elisha Dushku
Kate Beckingsale
Milla Jovovich
Nathan Fillion
Kiefer Sutherland "David" from Lost Boys
Robert Vaughn as Napoleon Solo from "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."

I think thats a fine amount, be a good poll

That certainly narrows down the choices. There are only a couple in the list I'm interested in now, but that's cool. Too bad Ada doesn't also excel with female likenesses. That would make my vote easy... oh well.

who need a Medi Kurgan w/o all the other stuff needed. i'd kill for a Medi Kurgan but not w/o armor sword ect. now i could see a modern Kurg since both the SS and Her Heads sculpts aren't that great and we have the outfit.

the HH sculpt of Brenden isn't that great but i don't care enough lol.

same w/ Reynolds. don't care.

now...PLEASE MAKE IT MILLA!! i have this Ultraviolet outfit that really needs a nice head.

There are decent Milla sculpts out there. There's no telling that you'd get a "great" one out of this either.

seriously, could you point me to a decent Milla? maybe you know of one i don't. and no telling, but i have her Jolie and Biel and they look really good IMO.

anywho looks like she's chosen a winner. congrats to POTA! :chew

Kate Beckinsale are you guys kidding? She has the most votes??? You people are boring.

The winner is James Naughton as Burke from the TV Series, Planet of the Apes
Dam'it !!! I ask her a Milla's headsculpt almost a year ago.

I'd have to do the searches for her again, but I have seen very good versions of Milla. I have Ada' Biel and it is lacking, I am not even sure I'll use it.

Naughton, for anyone who remembers the Planet of the Apes franchise, was the dark haired astronaut from the TV series. A quite refreshing choice, not just because I'm an Apes fan but also refreshing from all the Indy's, Arnold, Willis' etc....
