Best option might be a mix up of the two with a new body and serious work on the VTS head.

It seems that the only female bodies available have large chests.

Nah, you can get some 'flatter' ones than this... but yes, the female bodies really lacks realism.

there are small bust bodies out there in the market. Hot Toys RE4 Ada body should be best.

I know, it was a bit tongue in cheek. I'm a very big fan, loved the movie and have read the comics since issue one. I even have a replica Judge suit.

I think the fig looks good, we are just all a bit disappointed by the final sculpt especially when the proto sculpt looked so good, its a bit like a McDonald's burger, they look great but when you get it, your always disappointed.

Slightly improved... But nowhere near proto so it's a pass for me. No way I would display it with the helmet either.
Maybe if you had the ability it could be improved....Damn it anyway.
