WaitList Question

I'm new to Sideshow collecting and want to know how does the Waitlist work? If an item is out of stock, does Sideshow make more to meet the demand of those wanting a figure/statue? If I'm on he waitlist for an item that's out of stock...does that mean I get a second run production of a figure that isn't worth as much as the first run that was limited to 600 pieces? Lastly, how long does the Waitlst take to convert to a purchase of an item? Thanks for any feedback/answers. Just trying to learn how this works.

they don't make second runs... if they run out of their (insert number) editions, it's done

how long it takes depends on if they get a cancellation or a return. That they get a return doesn't necessarily mean that the item is in a bad condition or anything...
