Which character(s) will become zombie fodder in the Walking Dead season finale?

Yep. He's the only other male member of Hershel's group.

I can imagine Jimmy and Beth going out together too - one trying to save the other one sort of thing.

Ok thats the only thing I can remember him from. :lol

I don't recall him running out when Dale was murdered or at any point coming into contact with Randall, and I find that odd. They haven't really done the best job keeping track of the side characters.

There are a few of the side characters that pop up from time to time where I go "Who the hell is that again?" :lol

Carol (she will just give in to join Sophia), Jimmy, Beth, Patricia another one to join Otis:lol Maybe Herschel but hopefully not T-Dog :( I really cant see the small part farmers in season 3 no use

T-Dogg ain't going nowhere! He is the comforting cast member that is always there and never in major trouble (except in the first episode).

I think we may not see Hershel die, but it may be implied. I could see him being locked up in his basement ready to fight, and the Zombies come charging in and it cuts to black.

I went out on a limb and wanted to pick a main character, I picked Glenn. Yes he is a fan favorite, and he has a lot more story potential. But if you've read the comics:
The farm is not overrun and Hershel forces Rick and his people to leave, but Glenn stays behind with Maggie at the farm. I haven't read past that, so I don't know if Glenn pops up again (please don't tell me).

We know that is not going to happen in the show, so anything is possible really.

Promos for next week's season finale also showed Maggie in a vehicle looking out the windshield in horror. Could the writers be going for the gut punch and killing off either Herschel or Glen in front of her?
(I can't tell from the promo, she could be looking in horror at the walkers swarming the vehicle or at someone becoming zombie food in front of her.)

Maybe it's her little sister.

Since Maggies sister decided to live, she's definitely toast.

Picked Glen too. His and Maggies relationship has the potential to bring too much hope and happiness into the world. Too close to a return to normalcy. He has to die so Maggie can want to die too. But, she'll live to the end and watch everyone she loves die. Cause that's the most unhappy thing that could possibly happen. Maybe he won't leave Hershel, and they both die together and like someone else said, in front over her. That's pretty darn miserable, and depressing, so I'm going with that as well.

Let's not ignore the foreshadowing of Rick telling Carl he and his mom will die, in the barn. I've noticed TWD writers tend to take advantage of foreshadowing. And, that would be depressing and awful too, which increases the likelihood.

Trick question. They're all bait. The real question is who's on the hook that gets a bite. Heh.

I don't think they'll ditch a third major character in three weeks ... so I figure Rick, Daryl, Glen, Andrea, Lori, Carl and T-Dog are safe. Herschel and Maggie are probably safe, too. I guess I could see them killing off Sophia's mom. She's pretty useless ... and it'll piss off Daryl. Probably just one or two of the no names in Herschel's crew, though. Maybe the suicidal broad.

True. :lol

I didn't include Rick, Daryl or Maggie in the poll because I didn't have enough spots to cover them all and I don't think Rick or Daryl are going anywhere anytime soon and I hope Maggie doesn't either as she is the best eye candy on the show - for guys that is and any women who swing that way. :monkey3

Amy was eye candy too before her sister ruined her good looks. Personally I think Maggie and Hershel are toast. And Carol, Patricia, Jimmy, and Beth too. How many functional vehicles are there? How many people can actually fit in the cars to get away?

Patricia and Jimmy. The core group has already given up as much as they will this season.

And it looks like Hershall and Beth pull through based on spoiler images posted already.

Not gonna read that spoiler but yeah I'd agree with that, I can't see them offing any more of the longer serving characters for the time being.
