Want to Build Predator army, help?

So I caught the bug to build a predator army and I trust you freaks more then anyone when it comes to this stuff so I need some info.
Which predators can still be bought at a decent price? (under 200) I just have the Predator 1 figure. Also besides ebay, any good stores that may have them in stock? also interested in the predalien.

You can find Wolf (all versions) for pretty cheap as well. Beyond that.. for under $200 I doubt you'll find any. Unless you luck out and buy one from another collector who has money/home problems and needs to get rid of some stuff. That's how I got my P2 (normal version) for $190. Dude's wife was nagging him about all the stuff he had so he started unloading duplicate stuff.

Havent a few people had problems with their service though? I saw the wolf on their site, and I really want him but I don't like dealing with people I hear bad reports about...

I have ordered from them multiple times, and everything I ordered got to me as I recall. However, the boxes do tend to get beat up (they ship these from stores), and they tend to over-estimate stock, and to cancel orders when they do. Plus, shipping can take awhile because they frequently use Media Mail. But they will refund you if an item doesn't show up, or is damaged when it arrives.

The only major drawback is that the boxes are often dinged. If that is a concern to you, then yeah, you should probably go elsewhere. But when you save $70-100+, seems a small price to pay for those who open their figures like I do.

True, but then they could just cancel your order for no apparent reason. Then when you go to their site again you find the exact item you ordered for $20 more.

Isn't it worth the shot, though? What do you lose if they cancel your order? I don't mean to sound like GoHastings' cheerleader or anything. I know they aren't a very well-run online operation, but the costs of ordering from them are pretty low (possibly a bit of aggravation) and the benefits potentially very high (awesome toys for awesomely cheap prices).

I always see loose AVPR Wolf Preds go for dirt cheap on ebay. But yea if you want new ones, Lost Predator would be the easiest and cheapest to get.

possible stupid question but the 3 predators in AVP, are they the celtic, chopper and scar (i think?) predators?

Those are 3 figures HT produced for that "film." Another is Elder Predator. Then there is an exclusive Scar Predator with Elder's head. Possibly something else.

I just placed an order for a brand new Wolf Predator (Original Double Cannon version). If your interested in the Cleaner version, they seem to be available at most retailers.

It is. The 3 main Predators are called Scar, Celtic and Chopper as you stated earlier. Along with Elder, and the Ani-com Exclusive Scar Predator with the repainted Elder head, they also made 2 Ancient Predators from the flashback scenes. But yea, the head sculpts are exactly the same on every one of them. Elder is the only exception.

I was thinking about getting the nethead/grid alien, does he have the same problems as the Alien warrior? Or is he built better like big chap alien?

From my experience the AVP and AVPR aliens were far sturdier than the Aliens warrior and didn't have the foot joint problems that the Aliens warriors had.
