So I am rewatching season 5 right now. It got me thinking that they really wasted Dracula. I think it was pretty lame that he was only in one episode. Anyone else agree? Or are there any other villians that you think should have lasted more than one episode?

He's one of my lest favorite villains, so one ep was enough for me. But seeing him interact with Spike might have been worth one more episode. It's not like I doubt Joss or another writers could have made him interesting, but I'm still satisfied with what we got.

A villian I wanted more from was The Anointed One. I think he was suppose to be on longer, but the actor grew to fast for the role, so he had to go. I'm not to sad, because then came Spike, Drusilla and Angelus, the most entertaining villians ever.

Sunday from Season 4 was a delight. I would have loe to see her and Spike cook a plan up, so I would have wanted her for at least one more ep.

There's probably more villains I'm not thinking about right now, the writers really knew how to write the creeps well, but I can't remember.

Part of the charm of monsters of the week is that they came, they scared/charmed/made us laugh, then they left when they had done what they were suppose to, before it got old. A few villains stayed too long. Like the trio. One ep of them would have been enough. But they did represent the occasional lameness of life, the need to desperatly grab for something great, so they did fit in with season 6's theme, "Life Is The Big Bad".

Honestly I didn't feel too bad that Dracula wasn't there long. Most other vampire stories put him in there and I don't think Joss wanted to waste time with him so he just added him in for a small bit.

I was not a fan of Dracula. Thought they made him kind of lame. And as for villains I wanted more of, maybe just Caleb. He was so great. Other than that I think we got too much of some of them. Like Glory and Adam. I realize they were great and all, but I think there was too much.

More Angelus is always welcome.

That Dracula episode was hilarious.:rotfl

Anyway, can anyone remember that particular episode with that telekinetic Blade slayer wannabe?....

You know I agree that the Dracula they protrayed was very lame. I guess I would have liked him a little different bit a little longer. I actually really liked glory for some reason.

Dracula was a lot more entertaining in the 5 Spike vs Dracula comics.

But I think the Dracula in the show could have been suppose to be lame. And creepy. To show Buffy that she didn't belong in the same category as him. She is a creature of darkness, but not exactly his kind.

EDIT-

Anyway, can anyone remember that particular episode with that telekinetic Blade slayer wannabe?....

Hmmm.... I'm, drawing a blank. I can't remember any chick with those powers that are a slayer wannabe, just the red-head in Season 2 of Angel.

Nope, it was a guy. I remember him in one scene when he was meditating with a sword levitating in front of him....he got killed by Spike's coven.....All in one episode. I thought that was hilarious!:rotfl

I think that was in the ep where Darla gives birth, Offspring or whatever it's called. But in that case it was definitly not Spike's coven, those vampires where worshiping the "miracle child"/Connor.

*checking a screencaps-site*

Nope, that was in Quickening. And he didn't levitate, in case I can read the caps right and remember well, he held his hand in fire after meditating and then made the sword fly to him.

Or maybe you thought of another scene? I just have no idea when in season 2 of Btvs Spike's coven attacked someone with that kind of power.

It was definitely a Buffy episode. His scenes were very brief. The meditating part and then his failed attempt of ambushing Spike in his hideout! I thought that was the funniest sheeeeet I've seen then!:rotfl:rotfl

Now I feel ashamed. That sounds like a awesome Spike scene and I can't even remember it! And I call myself a Spike-fan.

What more do you remember from the episode? Do you know the season?

I haven't a clue what that could be, I don't remember Spike having a coven or an ambush, when ya'll pin it down be sure and post the name of the episode I'm curious.

He did take over The Annointed One's gang, which I suppose Angelus later took on when Spike ended up in a wheel-chair, which was in Season 2, definitly not three. But when where they ever ambushed...

I'm telling you, it was very, very brief. I even thought he was an important character until his sudden death!:rotfl.....this I can remember: him meditating shirtless(or nude) with a sword levitating above or in front of him then scene cutting to commercial. Next scene was him breaking in in the factory through one those of windows above and then attacked some of the vampires until he was overpowered and sucked dry screaming in agony!:rotfl.....it was definitely like a WTF? moment.

Any chance I could get you to watch the Angel episode Quickening again to see if that was it?

link, please?
