I also just noticed this. :(

I am terribly sorry and saddened by this news.

Ween, when you are ready (and if you're confortable with it), tell us just a little bit about your brother... what kind of person he was. It will not only give fellow Freaks a better understanding but it might also give you some catharsis.

I'm not sure if you're "a believer" or not... but I'm going to be at Notre Dame in a couple of weeks and I will light a candle at the grotto in memory of your brother (I'm doing one for Eli26's father as well).

Cheers... and hang in there.

Just read this too. Tragic. A friend of mine lost her dad today too. Bad times.

I've been out of the country for a little over a week, so I just saw this. So sorry to hear of your loss, Ween. <3

ween, you have been very thoughtful about our cause and I just now realized that there was a thread here for you. I am saddened by your loss, nothing can replace a loved one. I hope you find comfort and peace for your heart. Remember the good times spent together and the love shared with your loved one and know that wherever he is, he is doing the same and wishing for your happiness.

Yes I am, Carl and thank you so much for doing this for my brother, Kim. :1-1:

My eldest brother was a career Navy man. Was in for 20 years. He was married with a son by the age of 19. Traveled all around the world. Had a son in Australia and in Scotland. He probably would've stayed in to reach 30 but his wife's mother had health issues and she wanted to be closer to home. So he got a job working for Nissan. He was alot like me. Loved movies and toy collecting, mostly Sci-Fi and comics. Big LotR, Star Wars, Batman and James Bond fan. He also loved photography and fishing. Had an ornery sense of humor and was very stubborn. He had three sons, four grandsons, a step grandaughter and one on the way.

Just wish he didn't smoke. :(

And thank you all once again for the condolences.

Rest in peace Kim. Don't go too far up yet, you still got people to look after.

Sorry to hear about the bad news and sorry for the late post. I just stumbled onto the other topics sections for the first time today. Good luck to you Ween. Glad you're finding some comfort.
