Boned again....
Last I looked Luke was June and Han was July. has that changed?
That's what they are now. It says that those are updated changes. That's why I wasn't sure.
The newsletter seemed to treat some stories like incase you didn't read last weeks; Han and Luke were updated in a previous newsletter, the Hobbits QT 360 was promoted again but that was news last week. I'm not a fan of Luke first, but it is what it is.

As much as I like seeing new announcements, maybe there's a threshold on how many figures there should be in the queue at one time.

I know it's when the line first started, but we waited on 6 at one time. Jedi Luke shipped in March 2006 and by that time we had already ordered up to Mace Windu (the sixth SW figure). It might have even gotten to Qui-Gon.
Seems I usually have 4 SW figures on order in rotation at almost any given time.
But obviously they are holding out for SDCC. So whatever it is should be good.

I can't imagine they will wait until July for the next announcement... thats way too long.
I'd say only an SDCC figure between now and the con itself.
As for those concerned about the lack of items pending comared to the past, let's not forget the saving grace that is Prometheus. There could be figures with sculpts that have long been in the pipeline but now that Prometheus is ready the sculpts are being tooled for the new neck or because of some of the freedom's of Prometheus they're putting a lot of thought into characters and such that will capitalize on the new bodies they've got. I don't think this will be a permanent slow down for the line, my impression is SSC 1/6 is in a transitional period between the new Indy license and 3 new bodies (that we know of).

I remember one of the head honchos at SSC coming into IRC over Spook and saying that for the SW line they were aiming for 1 a month

Well, no. I just meant they're holding back a bit. 2 months and no PPO. So maybe 1 PPO in May, then SDCC preorders after that. Maybe. Just guessing here.
Usually the well dries up a month before SDCC, not 4 months before. SS is holding back for some reason. Maybe lots o' good stuff for SDCC so they're trying to avoid a lot of cancelations for stuff that might have been ordered in the months prior. After all, let's say they offered Greedo or something in April, then at SDCC they offer up Vader and stromtroopers, etc...probably a lot of people would cut Greedo loose to make room for the more important stuff. So the longer we go with no PPO, the better it looks for something major (and majorly expensive) for our SDCC surprise. Maybe...
Praji and Clone Armor Obi may be our biggest clues.
I read somewhere that the SDCC items are being revealed next week...

Well we have had a few recently. I wouldn't be surprised to see some troop building type stuff come out which might be why the wallets are getting a break now.
I'm hoping its a scout trooper to round out the endor display.
