Again grats. As soon as I saw those SDCC pics and saw when it went up for preorder with only a 500 ES, I just knew it was grail gold. I wish I ordered 4 of em instead of 2. I shoulda got it today, I hate those Adverse weather conditions delays messages by UPS. Again grats

I think all of us expect this to do well and be in demand. Will it stay at nearly $1500? That will be the fun part to watch. It's a damn good piece. I can assure you of that. Glad I didn't get any weather issues would have sucked to wait more for this.

Thanks! Yeah, I will try to snap more this weekend assuming the weather is decent. I'll try to put something beside him like I did above to show his size. Might take a little longer than usual moving things around because he is by far the heaviest statue I've owned.

Out of interest Josh, do you have the Weta Smaug FB statue, just wondering how it compares weight wise, since I know that one is pretty darn heavy.

I would think it is pretty close to the Smaug in terms of weight, if not heavier. Actually I can tell you the whole thing weighs 44 pounds despite the shipping confirmation from Weta saying it weighs 35 pounds.
