Here's an extreme close up of mine.

Not only do I think it's on par with a lot of SS stuff, I think it's even better.

The hairline is very sharp, as are the eyebrows, the eye's, the lips and yes, those are freckles, they are meant to be there. Now remember, this statue is 1/6th scale, the actual head is only about 1cm high.

Why are you holding on to this statue if you basically dont like it then?...You are just very particular...we all have to be in some regards...but in your case obviously it's taken (in my opinion of course) to bit of an extreme...

I love this statue and this Hellgate line.
IMO, these are painted better then most SS statues.

I must admit i'm having a hard time seeing the problem as well. Exactly how much sharper do you want that hairline to be, especailly given that my photo is liek 10x the size or more.

I know much of this is rather OT, but I'd really like to see a very close up photo (like mine), of any SS statue, which is 1/6th scale, mass factory produced/painted (around the same price point) and has a hairline, etc that you consider good.

guess we are still discussing this. you dont see the sloppy black paint around the face and even on her ears? there is no depth the way it's painted. This is a great sculpt and the armor/base is fine, but the poor face paint killed it. I know what I see, despite popular opinion.

SS statue examples: sue storm, entire lotr series minus arwen etc...it's just two different tiers man, just like attakus is 1 level above ss, there is nothing wrong with that....

I bet you going to say cant tell difference between those photos vs templar, but there is clearly a big difference in term of paint quality.
