But what about the battle?
The eagles have taking over and won?
You see Beorn jumping in,radagast on the eagle,but the next shot is that the orks are all gone?
After legholas has said goodby to Thranduil,does Thranduil and Tauriel go on togheter?
The dwarfs say goodbye to Bilbo,so that means they live.
I would of expect everyone would die in this episode.
So why we haven't see Thranduil back in LOTR he lives?

Yeah let's hope so.
I haven't bought an extended yet,only the bluedisk with the short version.
I have the LOTR extended versions on dvd,and also on bluedisk in a deluxe box.
These movies are worth bying for the extra footage,and also bluedisk for the sharpness.
I'm waiting for the battle of vife armies to come to bluedisk,and later I hope a boxset of hobbit that contains al 3 extended movies.
What a masterpiece this serie is.

Yeah I neglected buying it soon enough too. Really want one but prioritized other things first. Sucks because though BBTS had to discount it to sell it out and it took weta well over a year to sell out, now that it is, there is a run on all the other stores, they are all gone and suddenly they will all be $350-400 on ebay. It so stupid.

The psychology of collecting is so weird. I had this and returned it last year. I just didn't feel the pop of the piece. I have basically decided not to collect Hobbit collectibles although I have a few dwarves still. But the piece goes sold out and my panic button goes off "just in case" I do want this piece in the future.

I didn't collect Weta back then. Didn't care for the look of it. They've improved a lot since then.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people go into denial mode when a piece sells out, especially a piece that take a long time to sell out. From one day to the next it's like "omg - I soooooooo wanted this and now it sold out, why oh why didn't I buy it "

It's actually simple: you don't really want it, it's the fact that you can't get it (at retail) any more that suddenly makes it attractive.

I wanted it all along but other things took priority because I can't buy everything I want all at once. The panic annoys me because now I'll have to pay 1.5-2x the price because I waited a week to long.

I was actually about to buy it from bbts right before it sold out. They had it available for sale for a week and I was putting money together for it. They had it in stock the night before I got paid, put of stock the next day. Sometimes you are just unlucky.
