Small update today, but I like to give them when I have them. Just got the new color swatches in the mail of the new vest material our tailor picked out for Jamies vest and they look terrific. I guess the delay (I learned today) was what a _____ of a time he had finding the right color.

It's hard to keep a good (Cyber) man down...

A pity George Lucas doesn't tinker with old Doctor Who episodes instead of his own films as there's actually scope for good stuff that could be added, the design above for example.

Although the man with a thousand chins would probably just add Binks to every scene and replace Tom Baker with Hayden Christensen

I just got pics of WGP's final version of the Jamie vest in with the new material and it is freaking gorgeous!!!

I am hoping to hold off showing it till I can show all of the Jamie costume parts at once soon because I feel it's lame having to show off everything piece-meal since updates were coming so slow.

Also, our caster is finally able to get to our last batch of printed items I sent him including the Serious Troughton head v.2 and all of the Trout accessories we made, so within a few weeks the main cabin crew part of this endeavor ought to be fully completed and entirely ready for sale.

Which is good because of our target date of Halloween/Nov... for the Cybermen!!!

CYBERMAN QUESTION

I wanted to ask about the Invasion Cybermans boots and I hope for a lot of answers here-

Should WGP include the Cybermans boots with our Cyber-kit?

As a customizer, I personally would put my Invasion Cyberman on a Dragon body cause I'd want an army of them, and could buy my own cheap store bought boots and paint them silver myself.

Would you guys prefer WGP provide resin made-boots that pop onto a figures foot-peg like a Hot Toys boot does, becoming the foot, and have us give the boots slight "lifters" to make the Cybermen be taller? This would mean you guys having to buy a more expensive doll body for it to utilize that. Or should we just let you guys sort out the boots yourself?

I can only speak for myself and as someone who prefers to collect single figures (ie I like just one stormie to represent all stormies, if you follow me). And of course in this scenario the additional expense for a TT doesn't bother me. So my vote goes for boots to be included with the set.

I'd likely use a Dragon body myself, so a cheap pair of old Dragon army boots with a shot of Krylon silver works for me.

Jamies costume is done and I should have it in hand to take pictures of either Sat or Monday depending on how merciful the mail gods are.

The Serious Doctor head v.2 and his accessories have been languishing at the moldmakers waiting their turn in the que, and I am told they will be cast by next weekend.

Yup. The Trouts "Serious" head and accessories will be ready next week. His basic costume and Yeti coat (if you want it) are made to order, usually done within a week.

Including the boots would be OK with me, anything that means less work on the customising side of things as it reduces the chance of me making a mess of something!

Hi Gang,

We are taking orders on Jamie's costume now! After a lot of hunting, we found this material for the vest which is spot on the correct color. I am very excited by this! Below is a mock-up without the detail sewn on I was sent to see the color "live" without worry of the monitor altering what color it really was.

Now approved, when finished it will look like this, only with dark brown fur and lower pockets. The vest is lined, has functional pockets, and is hyper-detailed with red stitching, accurate as it was in the show.
