Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

Smartarses!

Ok, I might have posted a lot, but, they're about different things. LOL!

What can I say, I have a lot of time on my hands...

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

LOL, thanks!

Indy's long been my pet project, I've been working on him since 2005. With each advance I tried to update him as much as possible. Surprisingly, in that time, I've never used the head Lonnie did.

The WGP will be his final incarnation and the end of a long quest.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

Same here Rogerbee, but since about 98. I think the WGP sculpt is great, definately in the top 3 Indy sculpts but I think it still has a few issues. Hopefully adding some paint will rid my worries.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

Here are some newer smiling Indy pics he kindly provided to share as well!

Smiling Indy looks great. Has a real 'Raven Bar' Trust Me look...

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

It feels like yonkes ago that I asked for what I wanted, is there an actual list of who wants what? I just need to know there is a smiling and a trad there waiting for me to pay for.

I got my head today. Looks great, no bubble etc and looks in scale. This is my first custom sculpt and the sculpt feels like its more fragile than say a mass produced sculpt. Like maybe it would crack or break if dropped or mishandled. For example where its dremeled out for the neck joint it looks like it may crack when I attach it. Like if its expanded slightly it may crack. Does this sound right?

I've never put it to the test, per se, but I think resin is a pretty durable material.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

In the past I've had a couple custom figures with resin heads take a dive off my 5 ft high shelf. Only issue I've ever had is the paint getting scuffed up.

Got my indy today. Here's a few pictures of it in-hand.
I played with the contrast so you could see more details.
This is on the Hot toys muscle body TTM-19 with HT clothing.

The head looks even better in-hand. It had just one small
rough spot on the bottom of the neck(last picture), but other than that...perfect.

Careful with the hat, it really is thin, don't want to break it
by pushing to hard on it. Had to be that way for scale and
it looks great as well.
