12 hour left over Spicy Chicken sandwich from McD - not refrigerated. Contemplating if I should eat it or not.
Just 12 hours?
I wouldn't give it a second of thought unless it was in my car in 100 degree weather for three days...and even then, I would only be concerned with whether it was too dry to eat.
On another note...and I hope you all don't mind indulging a moment of nostalgia from me...
When I was very, very young, my mom would, from time-to-time, buy Brach's Malted Milk Balls. She would poor a few into a bowl for each of us and I would be in heaven for the 2 or 3 minutes that they would last. They have always been my favorite candy without exception.
10 years ago or so, it began to get very difficult to find them in California. Then suddenly it was impossible.
I was relegated to getting my sister to send them to me from North Dakota where they seem to be sold in every business that has a cash register...I have seen them in sporting equipment stores and home improvement supply stores, there.
A few years ago, Brach's changed the recipe of the chocolate due to costs and completely ruined the candy. They became worse than Whoppers (which suck so badly that I can not understand why people eat them). I actually called Brach's to beg them to change them back, but they told me "no chance".
So, for the past 3 or 4 years or so, I have lived with a little hole in my life where my beloved Brach's Malted Milk Balls used to be.
Last night, my sister called me and told me that she walked by a Brach's bulk candy display in a store and grabbed one of the Malted Milk Balls out of curiosity.
And they were back to their original heavenly goodness.
I was skeptical so I did some research and found out that (seemingly as recently as a few months ago), that Brach's did, in fact, go back to the original recipe due to public pressure.
Today, I am a happy man with some of the original Brach's Malted Milk Balls en route to me from North Dakota!
