It's funny, the pizza that we're accustomed to is as Italian, as General Tso's Chicken is Chinese :lol. In Italy, they use sliced chunks of tomato instead of gravy, and they top it off with olive oil. It looks healthier that what we're eating here.

Yeah, I've heard how they do it in Italy. I prefer Americanized Italian food, they eat too much fish over there. Coming from an Italian household, it's always been known as Gravy to me. Although there's a distinction between sauce and gravy, if you cook meat it in it becomes gravy, and it's for flavor.

That's pretty interesting! I always thought of sauce as something you'd use for dipping.

Whatever kind of pizza we're eating state-side, I love it :drool.
