What are you getting your kids/ Young relatives this Christmas?

We're having our first kid in a few days now, so he's getting more than anybody else in our family... they kid is going to get massively spoiled! Badass crib, kickass stroller, tons of pimping clothes...

Congrats! As one dad to another, let me give you one piece of advice. Your stuff will be broken. Accept it.

My son is getting the Ultimate Buzz Lightyear and the Imaginex Batcave. My wife is getting a Wii.

My wife has been debating a Wii, I'm not sure if she would use it all the time though... It might just be a phase.

Put the Hot Toys on a VERY HIGH shelf. Then when your son/ daughter wants to look at them you say, "Oh! What are all these Superhero Squads?"

That's how it works for me. DVDs are a different story.

Getting my nephew, niece, and cousins mostly DVD box sets from a Big Lots sale I ran into a couple months ago. Stocked up on Flintstones, Wacky Races, etc. Brain-rotting time

I used to hate getting gift cards as a kid. All my cousins were into completely different things and I was the odd one out I suppose.
I always ended up with giftcards for places that I had no interest in.

It came to a point where I would just get money instead of a gift card from the same people.

My uncle is getting one of those Elmos for his kid Dino.
There awesome.

I always get them cards from Toys R Us or Gamestop or someeplace they like. This is mosty for the ones out of town and it's easier to mail those.
