Sorry Batty. But your music doesn't feature dudes with beards and long black hair, alabaster skin, and demon worship on a scottish coast. You can 't crap more awesome into 3 minutes of a song than that.

:confused::confused::confused:

You use that typical stereotype against metal like every hip hop loving, mainstream rock elitist tard uses to describe good music...nice.

Just out of curiosity, did you graduate high school? Because I am not sure you are understanding my point. in fact, by your post I quote here I am sure you don't. :lol

Your point is what?, you admire the Kurgan(pure metal looking bad ass from a very overrated movie on these boards) but, you stereotype/dispise the darker side of music, no sorry Kurt Cobain doesn't count.

My point is you laughably condemn people for stereotyping your crappy taste in music while going out of your way (in a very over-the-top pity/victim way) stereotyping other people's supposed tastes in music.

Clear? :wave

And for the record I really don't think you have a clue what neither me nor Batty listen to which is what makes your statements not only presumptuous but laughably stupid as well.

Dude, you started trash talking and stereotyping my music interest from the very begining, like flat out insulting. I left my opinion(s) on the band(s) itself and why i can't seem to get into it rather then just say its flat out noise or crap etc, if you or others take that as some sort of personal attack then thats your damage, you dish it initially then be prepared to take some back from time to time.

I would say a good 80% of music that has been posted in here is mainstream stuff i hear or heard over and over, time and time again. If i choose to leave my thoughts on what i think about a certain group then i do it, no need for constant back and forth bottomless debate. I know damn well that i have a better understanding of some of your taste in music then you do of mine, its like you never even bothered to research anything.

Marc - you hip hop lovin', pop rock dancing fool. ;) :lol :lol

As for me, I'm listening to some Handel, Durufle and Allegri. (yes, it's that time of year again) :D

Doesn't get more elitist than that does it? :lol

Though you may be right. Even though you constantly spam this thread with your tastes and me and batty and whoever else you are referring to probably post in here a couple times a month - I am sure you really do know our tastes in music really really really well.

Yes Jen, you just know I love me some mainstream hip hop white music. Wooo HOooo. :dance

On topic:

My current favorite white trash hip hop urban boy, yo that I am listening to.

Valfar, like I said earlier, I've never criticized your taste in music before. But if you want to be the ********* troll that you are, go ahead. I couldn't care less what you think.

Hi Pix. :wave

My second favorite choral piece sung on Good Friday:

Crucifixus composed by Antonio Lotti

I think the problem is that, whether you are aware of it or not, it does come off as a personal attack.

You often like to imply that anyone who enjoys something mainstream is somehow unintelligent, lazy or weak-minded. Perhaps this is in retaliation to others judging your music, but it's not the most effective reaction.

I like the music you (Val) listen to, and I like a lot of other stuff as well. Why should any of us be judgmental about what other people listen to?

To me, the only virtue in music listening habits is to be open minded.

Another beautiful piece:

Agnus Dei (Op. 11) composed by Samuel Barber

This is one of my favorite bands of all time. They are an obscure 80s band called Marillion. Sorta an 80s rip off of 70s Genesis, nonetheless one of my favorites. Very theatrical. Floydish guitar riffs, keyboards, artsy lyrics.

I love the guitar solo in this song around 2:10.

This is also a great obscure 80s song. Another great solo around 330

No problem, i would hear Payolas on the radio and at home as a child all the time, they are from Vancouver i believe and had a few hit songs here.

Some of those Marillion songs you posted were pretty good, solo's especially.

Here is another one implanted into my mind since i was a child.

This video was actually filmed were i live in Scarborough, just outside of Toronto. Definitely not as ghetto looking back then, also i had no idea a long time news anchor Mark Daily from CityTv was rumored to have a part in the song just saying "Subdivisions" over and over.
