saw them a fw years back and felt bad for them.
Cold opened and thre wre about 200 people there then, which wasnt much for the venue. By the time Monster Magnet got halfway thru their set there were seriously about 20people there. but they played like it was 20,000. Setting their guitars on fire and destroying the stage and everything.

I remember listening to them in the early 90's and my brother trying to convince me they were going to be the next huge band... Didn't happen and I'm glad because I'm sure they would have sucked if they got big and disappeared.
