I'm trying to fathom a new Floyd album that is actually any good. While I truly like the Division Bell and think its underrated by most fans, I thought the latest David Gilmour solo album was really dull.

I'm encouraged that its based off some noodlings, ambient stuff that was recorded during the 94 Division Bell sessions rather than new, but I just wonder what it will evolve into. My hope is it sort of turns into an extended High Hopes or a Pt 2 because that song has a really strong melody and good taste.
