From Iceland correct?, they have some good songs but, their artsy appeal is a little overboard for my taste...that guy sure sounds like a chick when he sings.

Yeah they're Icelandic I believe. Your right he does sound like a girl , I guess its an acquired taste.

Love Sigur Ros! Have seen them twice in concert, once in Indianapolis and once in Chicago. If you like them, I'd recommend listening to Amiina as well. They have toured with Sigur Ros many times and are outstanding too (also from Iceland)

Yea, they are pretty good..some of their stuff is hit or miss to me..i discovered them from when i used to go to clubs from when i was 19-26, don't go so much anymore. You should check out Hocico,SITD,Grendel,VNV Nation..some good stuff aswell.
