The Batman soundtrack - as much as I love Elfman’s theme I think this score may have eclipsed it. I’m so glad they have moved past Zimmer’s noise scores, they were great at the time but became more and more a caricature of themselves. This feels like a perfect hybrid between the two leaning on the orchestral side and to sound like a cliche, it sounds like a fantasy score in your head Morricone, Hermann and Williams all wrote together. 10/10

Really not digging the new Ghost album. Hunter's Moon and Little Sunshine were ok, but the rest is just generic '80s hair metal. No darkness, no melancholy. It's a far cry from Meliora and Prequelle, and especially their old stuff. Gonna be sitting this one out.

This cover of Blue Oyster Cult's, "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" was featured in Unhinged (2020) starring Russell Crowe. The movie was jarringly violent, and the song was fitting for the end.
