The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Got this game when it came out but now I'm remembering why I didn't play much of it. I really hate that you have to move around using the stylus on the touch pad. My hand gets in the way and it makes it hard to see what's going on. This is the most frustrating Zelda game I've played since Zelda II on the NES.

Haunting Ground

Fun game so far, similar to the Clock Tower games...except the antagonists wanna rape you to death because they're horny instead of just kill you because they're psychotic.

I hate the temple you have to keep going back to...really everything revolving around the phantom hourglass...not fun at all to me.

Haunting Ground has always been a favorite of mine. I love the atmosphere and the graphics were great for the time. I also liked the fact that your only weapons were Hewie and a few items you could throw at your enemies, not firearms or blunt instruments like Resident Evil or Silent Hill. It really makes you feel vulnerable. That being said, it's not the kind of game you always feel comfortable playing around friends lol.

Because of the scares or the quirkiness? Or is it the extra costumes you unlock? :lol

Over all I enjoyed it, very fun. Daniella was the coolest pursuer and Debelitas the most entertaining.

Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse

This game so far is much better than Fatal Frame III. Fatal Frame II is still my favorite and I plan to get the Euro version of the Wii Remake soon, but I'm hoping this one returns to form.

I love Fatal Frame, I wanted to pick up the 4th game. I didn't realize there was a EU remake.

Yep, but it's rare since it was only released in Japan. Thing is fans translated it and you have to hack your Wii to play with the English patch.

I'm looking forward to it (remake), Fatal Frame or "Project Zero" as it's known in Europe has the remake of Fatal Frame 2 for the Wii. I plan to import it since I have a feeling Nintendo is gonna **** us over again like with Fatal Frame 4.

That series IMO is the most nerve racking games out there. I own 1-3 but I think the Ghost sounds and voices of FF1 scared me the most.

True, Fatal Frame 1 did have more unnerving ghost sounds/voices emanating from say down the hall or in another room. I think it had some of the best scares as well. Fatal Frame II continued it, but I wasn't scared at all by Fatal Frame III. I was disappointed with 3.

Didn't like FF3 at all? I do think overall the first two were amazing. My girlfriend was terrified by the mirror lady in FF3 lol.

I did appreciate FF3 since in the beginning you feel safe in the home but the ghost world bleeds into it. Did you notice that demon face thing that is on one of the walls in the house? I was hoping something would develop from that but it never did...

You mean the Tattooed Lady? She was only scary when she was chasing you through walls/rooms Nemesis style for me :lol:monkey2

Most of the ghosts in FF3 were normal looking. Part 1 and 2 had some freaky looking ghosts. Drowned ghosts, broken neck ghosts, cut up ghosts, etc. FF3 had a lot of annoying ghosts. Crawling lady, dead victim and her shadows, and the little impaling girls were especially worse when they started flying all over the damn place. Only good ghost in FF3 were the guys with cleavers and bloody rucksack masks.

Same here (ghost face in wall), it was the one outside the dark room right? The best moments for me were those moments where in the "real world" ghosts were showing up in parts of your house.

YESSSSS!!!!

All the in house stuff scared the **** out of me. Just so quiet and still it made me extremely nervous playing it. The house was scarier than the ghost world.

I forgot it was the blue tattoo lady, been a little while since I played it.

Hands down the most shocking thing in gaming to me was when I noticed in the living room I was about to go upstairs and I noticed the basement door that had the sheet infront of it and you can see someone's feet on the bottom showing that someone was standing there... and if you move and change the camera angle and come back it's gone... what scared me that it was so not obvious and it was one of those things you just happen to notice.

I remember in FF2, the first ghost you encounter to fight that it appeared infront of you kind facing away and it does that RE1 Zombie head turn to look at you :lol

The series is awesome, it floors everything else.

True, it's the only series to actually give me chills and has the potential of scaring or unnerving me. FF3 didn't do it unfortunately. So far FF4 is doing a good job for me.

Decided to play through "Alan Wake" again. This game is incredible. This is definately one of those games that makes you feel like you are in the game. Well...at least if your playing this game on a rather large HDTV with surround sound headphones on.

It's awkward to play a game about a teenage girl being chased by a bunch perverts in front of your friends lol.

Daniella was definitely my favorite stalker. She was the most disturbing. I loved that her weapon was a giant piece of broken glass and the manic ticks and robotic walk she'd occasionally have.

Same here, and her music was cool too. She was definitely the most creepiest (not counting crawling Lorenzo), especially since she could come out of a closet you open or goes back to cleaning like nothing happened. Just deranged and creepy :lol
