:lecture Same. Dean Cundey did a great job recoloring this classic. Now, the film actually looks like a cold autumn day in Illinois, instead of a hot summer day in California (filming location LOL!).

They tried their best to hide it but it's clearly not Cali. I haven't been to Chicago but i doubt you can walk around in that kind of clothes on Halloween and not freeze :lol

The thing that bugs me is that you see Laurie and Tommy walk to the Meyers place to drop off key before walking to school. You see the girls walk home from school (with the sun starting set). It's the same when Laurie's at home and when she's picked up. When they stop by the hardware store, the sun is shining. When they leave and talk about the dance and Ben Tramer, the sun is setting and when they arrive at Tommy and Annie's neighborhoods, it's dark. It doesn't take them long to walk to and from school but it takes them forever to drive to Tommy's street even though he seems to be living close by. What kind of crazy ass road did they take to get there after sundown? And Loomis can hang out outside the Meyers place but walks to Tommy's street in no time (but took him hours to notice the car a few houses up the street) :lol
