I've done this too with the EE editions. You're right, one has to start early to get them all in. But damn, it's so much fun.

There are 6 movies in my life that I've given a 10/10 rating. FOTR is one of them. So much perfection on so many levels.

Yeah, you gotta start by like 8-9 am to get done at a semi-decent hour. Its a lot of fun though to set through such an amazing adventure.

Nice! Yeah, that would make for an even better day to just get some food delievered. Dad and I did the Trilogy Tuesday day they had right before ROTK came out in 03. That started at like 9 or 10 and we where done at like 2am or something like that. They had breaks between each movie and $1 hot dogs, large drinks, pop corn, etc. Then they had pizza brought in for us before ROTK started which was free.

Yup, just about that time. Need to get in a pizza run though and bathroom breaks.

And no whiny kids allowed or else I'll call on you "to beat that ass."

Just get the pizza delivered and thankfully you can pause or use the break between discs to go pee.
