And, yes, the second scene was hysterical. I saw the movie a couple times in theatres; at the midnight premiere, everyone laughed and cheered at the scene, but in the next outings, nobody seemed to understand what was happening.

Currently watching Lie To Me S1E1... Checking out the series because Tim Roth is a god.

Over here we know Shawarma as "Doner Kebab". Meat (usually lamb) cooked vertically on a skewer, cut off as it cooks and into a pitta (flat) bread pocket with chopped leaf vegetables and a mint based or even a hot chilli sauce. Yummmmo!
