God, I love this show. Only 5 episodes into the second season, and Vic Mackey is already en route to becoming one of my favorite characters to grace the small screen.:lecture

The show was brilliant at the beginning, but they fell into the same old trap that a lot of (if not) all great shows fall into. They wrote themselves into too many a series of seemingly inescapable corners. But then...They end up having too many implausible contrivances occur keeping/getting back the core group of characters together, it just got stretched too thin to stay believable.

They had the chance of taking Dutch into very dark territory indeed, specially after,
he throttles the cat with his bare hands,
But they chickened out on it and very quickly made him 'safe' Dutch Wagenbach again.

And how Mackey ended was just the height of the ridiculous...it was stretching it that he got a total pass for all his crimes, but there was just no way a character like that would end up anywhere near a position of any kind of responsibility.

Well, it looks like I do have you beat. I finished Season 2 in one day.:lol

:rotfl

You posted that at 2:24 am my time. That can only mean you had a marathon session. :lol

Hey that's what the holidays are for. I have about 20 hours of ghosts shows to plow through. :yess:

:lol I know the feeling. There are so many things that I want to get caught up on, yet I feel like none of them are going to be caught up on, as all that time will be spent on The Shield.
