Awesome movie
Have you seen the sequel?
Nope, just rented this one because a co-worker was talking about it. Is the sequel worth watching?
From what i hear, no I don't know why they would make a sequel, there's no point to it. Some of the actors return but it's another director.
I was surprised when you mentioned sequel because WTF would they do in it?
I was surprised as well when i saw the review in Empire.
Here's the plot for the sequel to read if you'r done watching the first:
Distraught, confused, and half-wild with fear, Sarah Carter emerges alone from the Appalachian cave system where she encountered unspeakable terrors. Unable to plausibly explain to the authorities what happened - or why she's covered in her friends' blood - Sarah is forced back to the subterranean depths to help locate her five missing companions. As the rescue party drives deeper into uncharted caverns, nightmarish visions of the recent past begin to haunt Sarah and she starts to realize the full horror and futility of the mission. Subjected to the suspicion and mistrust of the group and confronted once more by the inbred, feral and savagely ruthless Crawlers, Sarah must draw on all her inner reserves of strength and courage in a desperate final struggle for deliverance and redemption.
The weird thing is, she didn't really make it out at the end of the movie. It looked like she did, then she woke up back in the cave. Last we saw her she was looking at the fire picturing her daughter and a birthday cake.
I guess she eventually did go out, but seems pretty silly she would let anyone talk her into going back. I also noticed the actress that plays Juno is in the sequel. Don't tell me she got away from the Crawlers.
I don't think anyone did. I mean, how? It would have to be pure dumb luck for anyone to find a path out and fight off all those creatures. The movie just doesnt make any sense and was propably just made because of the popularity of the first one.
1.The movie wasn't bad, just didn't warrant a sequel.
2.I will say Juno can climb me any day of the week.
