Yes, indeed. Shaq wasn't as terrible as I remember. It's not like he was Marlon Brando or anything, but he wasn't as bad as what was to come in stuff like Steel and such.

Pretty good movie. I think the difference between Shaq in Blue Chips and Shaq in Steele/Kazaam is that Blue Chips is a serious movie while the other two are low budget kid flicks. Then acting and all that goes out the window
