I know that this will not be very popular. But I do think it would be cool to see some "Steampunk" versions of one or two of the Joes or Cobras. One with lots of gadgets. I once saw some Steampunk Star Wars figures and they were damned cool!

I really, really hope Sideshow doesn't go that route. Feel free to kitbash steampunk versions. Me, I like my Joes as close to the originals as possible.

I don't think they'd pick main characters like that though. Probably another Trooper variant or if they announce a Crimson Guard before then, likely a Fred variant.

I would be floored if they did. I am quite certain that I am the sole individual on Earth with any interest whatsoever in the idea. And even I would only like to see one. I would do the custom myself if I had any talent whatsoever for it beyond a simple kitbash.

I hear ya. I think it's cool to see all the Steampunk rehashes (like the JLA that was featured in ToyFare). I just wouldn't want Sideshow to do that with the Joes.

When it comes to the G.I.JOE team, I will get any figure Sideshow makes. When it comes to COBRA I'm a little more picky. For instance, I have no desire to add Serpentor or Dr. Mindbender to my collection.
