If you were trapped on a deserted island and had a choice knowing that you had only 10 films to watch for the rest of your life...which would they be?...For me it's the Searchers, The Shootist, The Wild Bunch, The Quiet Man, Blade Runner, Blues Brothers, LOTR for starters...plus whatever porn I could get my hands on...LOL

What am I going to do? Admire the bluray/dvd cover and box art?

If it was Gilligan's Island electricity would occur naturally from a coconut or something.

That's right the Professor is there with you handling the electricity problem...LOL...Hopefully Ginger and Mary-Ann are there too...lol

Lifeboat. Castaway. Evan Almighty. Russell Crowe's "Noah". Mythbusters: Duct Tape Lifeboat. Mythbusters: Duct Tape Island.

What are some other movies about building boats? Maybe a DVD Box Set big enough that I could use it to build a boat? Can it be shipped to me with a bunch of unused rolls of duct tape?

Amazing :lol

I was thinking along the lines of SnakeDoctor, great post!
My anytime list off of the top of my head, not just on a deserted island and in no specific order:
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Aliens
Saving Private Ryan
Donnie Darko
The Man From Earth (2007)
Goodfellas
The Aviator
The Departed
Braveheart
Platoon

All good flicks that can be rewatched from time to time and still retain the magic. The Man From Earth is a relatively unkown one but highly entertaining and unique. I threw in because it deserves to be seen if you can find it.
