My first car was a blue 1980 Pontiac Trans AM.
My second car was a red 1990 Pontiac Firebird.
My third car was a red 1999 Pontiac Firebird with Ram Air.

Now I drive a green 1998 Mercury Mountaineer.

First car in high school was a 1985 Honda Civic.
Then I got a hand me down 1986 Dodge Caravan.
Next was a 1993 Toyota Corolla. I drove that mother to the ground, had over 250,000 miles on it.
First new car I ever owned was a 2004 Mazda6.
When my two daughters were born, had to get something bigger, so I traded it in for a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder.
I currently drive my GF's car, a 2000 Honda Civic that's long in the tooth. She stays at home with the kids, so she drives the Pathfinder around.
I would love a new car, but I just bought a new house. Plus I haven't had to make a car payment for two years (since I paid the Pathfinder off) and the lack of a car note (plus low insurance premium) is nice.
Hoping to get a "new" ride in a couple years. It's smarter to buy a pre-owned car and to have the previous owner pay the "new car tax", but there is something to be said about getting a brand new car.
