What do you want to see from the 1/6 line?

I starteed a thread like this in the Star Wars forum before Luke was announced. I'd love to hear what everyone is hoping for with the LOTR 12" line.

For myself, I really want to see Gandalf the Grey with his Moria Staff w/ removable crystal, Glamdring Sword, Hobbiton Staff w/ removable Pipe, and several alternate hands.

His exclusive accessory could be the Book of Moria.

I'd also love to see two different interchangeable hair sculpts: one with the hair framing his face, and one with it all tied back (post-Rivendell).

As lame as it might sound, I'd like a Legolas with rooted hair. Not Sideshow's strong point, I know (and there are some pesky braids in there that would be problematic), but I was bummed when Toy Biz's offering differed so drastically from the prototype in the golden locks department. Of course, a Legolas that actually resembles Orlando Bloom would be cool, too (I'm looking at you, Dragon DID). On second thought, maybe the elven mane is more suited to the 1:4 line...

Speaking of DID, an army of 1:6 Orcs like they had initially planned to produce (but never did?) would be veeeeeery cool. And one can never have too many 1:6 figures of Christopher Lee!

Whatever the case, I'm looking forward to this series (and the 1:4 scale stuff) with Hobbit-like glee!

I've been thinking about what Frodo could come with. He'd have Sting, obviously. But I'd also like to see several hand variations, including:

Sword-weilding hand
Hand holding ring between thumb and forefinger (like SpinalTap figs with the guitar picks)
Bloody and clean post Gollum-snacked right hands
Hand wearing ring.

He should also come with two heads, one with intense grimace and one with knowing smile. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Seriously though, I know I'm in a small minority but I just don't have much interest in the LOTR figures unless they're in armor. I don't need a bunch of figures in robes and tunics. Give some elves that cool armor and I'll buy multiples.

oh, and Hobbits that are 6" tall, and not a bit taller!!!!

All of the key members of the Fellowship are must have figures of course. I think Sauron, Saruman, Lurtz, Withcking, Ringwraith (Generic), Helms Deep Uruk, and a Moria Goblin are must haves as villians. Gollum would be great, but how? For more non-mainstream characters, Faramir, Theoden, Eomer, Eowyn, Galadriel, Arwen, and Elrond are musts for me as well. Get these done, and we can start talking about prologue characters and others!

I'd love to see the Mouth of Sauron, but would you want him without his horse? He'd have to come with his sword, the mythril coat, and his own severed head!

Bilbo should come with an alternate freak-out gollum-esque head!

And Gollum should come with Frodo's severed finger, a fish, the One Ring attached to thumb and forefinger on an alternate hand, and arcok to bash Sam with. Maybe the exclusive could come with an alternate head of Gollum with a fish in his mouth! Yummy.

umm... since im new to the LOTR collectibles i would like to see the entire Fellowship made in the 12" (with the hobbits and dwarf sizes correct to the rest of the characters). then i say bring on the orcs, elves, hot chics, and anything else. **did i mention im just now starting to collect the LOTR???
