How do you display the old games? Do you have a cabinet or shelf set-up? Do you have any pics?

My basement is getting repaired right now as we had a leak. Here some super old pics of my loose SNES/NES.

For my boxed stuff I use a bookshelf and I put the games on there side like books and put the ones I like the most I put them with there cover showing. I only have maybe about 10-12 complete games that are actually "in my collection" as I have just recently started to collect them. I have a bunch more that are complete but they are my "playing" games. I try to get two of everything. 1 to play (even if it's just a loose cart) and 1 for the collection (complete) Last week I picked up a complete MIB NES action set. The best part about that was it truly was complete. It had EVERYTHING all the paperwork that is normally thrown out was included. I might even send away for a 3 year subscription for Nintendo power for 23.50 ;)

I used to collect marvel comics, but got bored with the stories. Also used to collect 5" and 7" figures, but sold them to get into the 12" scale.

I currently collect dvds. I also grow my own hair.

I collect extreme metal CDs and this is approximately half of what I currently own... (these pics were taken sometime in early 2010) :(
I own about 4,000 original CDs...

I hope that there are some other members here who are into Brutal Death Metal / Grind music~

I grew up with a NES.

My mom was super anti video games and I wasn't allowed any. I was like 8 or something and my dad and I go camping together. On the way home there was a garage sale so we stop (my family LOVES garage sales) So there is this NES with a couple of games in this cardboard box. The price was $25. My dad looked in his wallet and only had $11. So he said if I could talk the guy down to $11 I could have it. What my dad didn't bet on was that the guy actually took it. I grabbed the box with a smile as wide as a aircraft carrier. When we got home my mom really chewed out my dad. She was PISSED!!!! But what was done was done. I got my NES.

So many happy memories...:monkey2
