What Ever Happened to Takara's Kill Bill "The Bride" Figure?

First, no deluxe DVD treatment of Kill Bill and now, no kick ass 12" figure to look forward to. Gee.. it sucks to be a Kill Bill fan... thanks Quentin!!

I dont like the NECA's either. They just seem plasticy and kinda low quality. I'd rather a cool 1/6 statue or something.

But thats my 2 cents 2!

Oh yeah... that's right... I HATE it when the figure actually LOOKS like the characters they are SUPPOSE to be.

As anyone who knows me can attest... a really good sculpt is wasted on me.

Agreed, If I get a Bride I want a good sculpt, fabric costuming, etc...

Neca sculpt is ok but it's a plastic mold, would have been great if Tak did one, I would have jumped on it...

I agree. Good scuplts, but not great figures. The problem is that I think we've all moved away from that scale. If I'm putting money down for a good Bride figure, I want 1/6 scale, not $14.99 for a wannabe Movie Maniac!

How about a Tarentino 1/6 scale line? Pulp Fiction anyone? Better Resevoir Dogs? Daryl Hannah in an eye patch?!?! MMMMMM....

I would definitely be a completist for a Kill Bill line. They could even try get all of Tarantino's licences - Reservour Dogs probably wouldn't do too great as there are already options and its a bit bland for HT's price point but some Grindhouse figures could be awesome.

As for Grindhouse, I'd love to have a Stuntman Mike.

Of course, at least there actually WAS a proto made of the Bride...

I so wanted that when it was first shown. I remember the female Kerberos was unveiled at the same time, it took ages for that to come out but this just disappeared.
I'd love to see HT or Enterbay do her. Triad have variation on the suit but I want a bang on likeness with screen accurate threads and gizmos.
