What happened to HT Pirates line?

No news? No Davy Jones? I figured this line was going to explode once the movie opened...

I don't know but I'd love to see a HT Davy Jones, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, and Barbossa. Of course other members of the Flying Dutchman crew would be great as well.

Well there are only two right now anyway, but I imagine that the mixed reception the film received might affect the future of the line. But then again who knows, they have no problem with cult favorites and Pirates is way bigger than that.

I got tired of waiting for the Hot Toys Jack Sparrow and ordered the Medicom one when I discovered it was still in stock at Master Replicas. I like it a little better than the Hot Toys one anyways. A Davy Jones to go with him would be really awesome, as would a Will and Elizabeth.

Toys2 says they expect Jack Sparrow in this week. We'll see what happens. But either way it seems like all stores are expecting the Pirates figures by the end of July.

Aye. IMO Geoffrey Rush's performance in 1 and 3 are so underrated. I just hope Hot Toys makes a Barbossa figure to compliment Jack.

It sucks there are no decent collectibles of Barbossa.

looks like there may be additional figures added to the line. found the next edition of the hot toys newsletter on toysdaily (don't know why i haven't got it yet!) and it said:

Make sure to keep yourself update on www.HotToys.com.hk if you don’t want to miss out their news. Furthermore, since the movie hit the theatre last few weeks, collectors start searching our 12” Captain Sao Feng and Captain Jack Sparrow everywhere. more HT Pirates figures is great news!

I think Davy Jones is at the top of the most likely list, followed closely by Barbossa, then Will and Elizabeth bringing up the rear. An undead skeleton Jack would be cool as well, but I doubt they'd tool a new body.

Yep, I think Barbarosa, Jack and Davey would be the 3 I would want out of the series... although if they made a rotted out ghost pirate that'd be pretty badass too
