What happened to the IKEA Besta display unit ???

Those cabinets are still available at ikea, but not the doors.
They don't even have a single door for the 75 5/8 H model, you have to buy 3 small doors. WHAT THE ***...

The detolfs only support 15lbs max, that's not good enough with SS statues.
And only my Joker, superman and Deadpool would fit in them, everything else is too big :/

I just gotta wait for a call from my glass door guy... 3 little doors at 34$ each from ikea is the same as if I buy 1 big door at 100$ from him... Still 400$ god damnit.

Does anyone know the name of the lights that go right inside the doors? They sit inside the doors, at the top and they are silver. You can set them to remain on or only come on when you open the doors, etc.

I went for the FABRIKÖR but have out grown it pretty quickly. I'm shopping around for a second case, and it looks like IKEA is still the cheapest option. Does anyone know if there are good IKEA bookcases that have removable shelving? I don't think I'll need the glass enclosure for all of my collectibles.

If you don't need glass doors consider the PAX system at IKEA.

Cool - just checked out the PAX system. Didn't even think of it as an alternative to a bookcase/display case. I really like that they have shelves that can support a lot (which was my worry about my other options). Thanks!

Is there a larger version of the Besta? One that I could put the sideshow 1:2 endoskeleton on top of? In need of some ideas, any help would be appreciated.
